Welcome to the Derwent Valley Community House Website.  This site has been produced through a partnership between Community House and students at TAFE Tasmania.

We work with the local community to identify needs and design relevant programmes. We have a range of programmes and great facilities available for hire.

We work with other services in and around the Derwent Valley to built strong partnerships, develop joint programmes, support existing programmes and work together to promote and strengthen services in the region.

DVCH is funded through the Department of Health & Human Services. It is managed by a community management committee and staffed by a part-time Coordinator, Administration Assistant and Book keeper.

 The Community House relies on volunteers, so please feel free to drop in or give us a call to talk about how you might like to get involved...
